Where the Chiliways Journey Began

The story of Chiliways began in 1982, when Mr. Zeiad F. Tuaimeh brought his passion for great food and fast service back home to Jordan. After gaining years of experience in the restaurant industry in the United States, he returned with a dream — to introduce a new fast-food concept built on quality, flavor, and hospitality. 

In 1985, that dream came to life with the opening of the first Chiliways restaurant between the 7th and 8th Circle in Amman, Jordan. It quickly became known for its unique blend of authentic chili, hearty meals, and friendly service — setting a new standard in the local dining scene. 

Mr. Tuaimeh’s innovation didn’t go unnoticed. On September 28, 2004, he was honored by the Minister of Tourism as the first pioneer of the fast-food industry in Jordan. 

At the heart of Chiliways is its signature chili recipe — a rich sauce infused with a carefully balanced mix of spices, perfected to create the distinct taste that has defined our brand for decades. As Mr. Tuaimeh once said, “Everyone makes it differently, but it’s all about the balance — a little more of this, a little less of that.” 

Traditionally served over spaghetti with a variety of toppings, our chili inspired countless combinations on our menu — from flavorful sandwiches to signature meals that appeal to every taste and age. 

Today, Chiliways stands as one of Jordan’s leading fast-food chains, recognized for its uncompromising quality, consistency, and service. Guided by the same values that started it all, we continue to expand locally and internationally — carrying forward the legacy of passion and excellence that began over four decades ago.
